I'll be there on day one for any future VNs this author makes. In any case, excellent game that is definitely worth playing, especially for the amazing price of free. I just wish the plot wasn't set up in such a way that choosing anyone other than Kat made you feel like a complete douche she's also the only girl that doesn't show up in the ending if you don't pick her, which further compounds that feeling. With the exception of the fact that the whole thing with Brother Four was never properly explained and made the main characters seem spectacularly dumb (was he working under Kat's orders? Or was it all Kat, and Allie never even came in direct contact with him? And if she didn't, how did she even test his loyalty? Also, how the hell did they ever think one single grunt could hide their plotting from HUNDREDS OF WORKERS?), the game was great.Īlso, with the exceptions of Allie and Terra (Allie is too crazy for my tastes, and Terra is a bit immature - she's the only girl who never even kisses you, for instance), all the other girls were excellent choices for the ending.

It's a free game so I can't complain overall its an amazing game, if they ever added to it I'd definitely pay to just learn more about the characters alone. Instinctively I picked her first because I can't help but connect with the gamer girls but it just seems like they didn't really go into her story as much and I couldn't help feeling like I could've loved her a lot more if she had more detail. The other thing is I wish Terra had more story. Do they ever add to that or just drop it as oh she was just in this for money? I never saw the ending where you kill Kat because I just don't have the heart to do it but it really did throw me for a loop. When she was talking about how she knew you before, and during one of the dates (I think the first one actually) she says something along the lines of "the other girls will be eliminated in no time" and then kinda brushes this off and it's never really addressed again. I just wanted to add to this because I was under the impression it was Yui from your dreams the entire time.

I apologize if some of you find reading my huge wall of text difficult (English isn't my first language.) but I tried my best to express how I felt about it 😂 It was a mindblowing experience that's for sure. When the mc got his memory back I was like oh my fucking shit, what the hell. Kat, at first I really hated her because of what happened in the first cycle but then in the third one my opinion of her changed dramatically. I wasn't prepared for that since I could somehow connect with her as my gf and her are in very similar situations. All that changed when Violet's backstory kicked me onthe face. The game tricked me into believing that there is a bad ending if I activated too many flags which is why I was rather cautious with what options I'd take. I love how bubbly and hilarious the MC's and her interactions were especially that last line about overthrowing a corrupt government, I fucking loved that. Now what I had in mind was it would have multiple branching paths so I tried to focus on just one girl so I chose Allie and she kinda stuck to me. So when the first dream sequence happened I was like I fkin knew it. You see I already knew from the very beginning was up (Thanks a lot DDLC).

I was completely unguarded against the onslaught of plot twists that assaulted me. It's a three way tie for me between Violet, Kat, and Allie. Made me really glad they all get out in the end and you can (presumably) still keep in touch and hang out, even if you don't pick them. Oh no, you didn't" moment, knowing her favorite ending to her favorite fairy tale was doing the exact opposite. Lastly, am I a just a baby or did anyone else tear up at a couple of points?Īs it happened, my first choice was Scarlett, so that dream sequence which reveals she's chosen to stay behind for the sake of others after organizing your escape, was something of a "oh shit, oh fuck. My only regret is, it basically sets things up in a way that's guaranteed to make me feel like a real tool if i picked any other girl at that point (not that turning them all down feels that much better, mind you) The last backstory reveal, i didn't see that coming. So when it's revealed it was Kat after all, that actually made things feel relatively normal, so to speak.

Then, after the early reveal which doesn't yet show the shooting but makes it seem like she's captured you and your partner, the subsequent dream sequences made me suspect maybe the twist would be, they've used Scarlett's (who at that point is clearly established as an "odd woman out") mind altering technology to literally split your dream girl into 4 separate aspects of her overall personality, and the antagonists' sick joke was to make you choose between them over and over, unaware of the reality. I suspected initially the dream girl would be Kat.
